PhD Studios, Inc. and its affiliates (“PhD Studios”) recognizes and respects the privacy of users of its Web site. In general, PhD Studios gathers information about users while they are visiting its Web site, when users utilize PhD Studios hosted applications and when users utilize our services. The collection of this information enables PhD Studios to tailor its content to our users and to help better understand its customers and users, which assists it in providing appropriate products and services to its customers. PhD Studios conducts and stores information required to conduct business transactions requested by our users and to properly conduct communication between our customers. Any personally identifiable information we may collect about you is saved in a profile that is kept on our server. The profile includes your contact information and billing information. PhD Studios has no intention of collecting any personal data from individuals that we actually know are under 13 years of age. This Web site is not directed to children under the age of 13 and no part of this Web site is intentionally structured to attract anyone under age 13.
Cookies: A “cookie” is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive that contains information about the user. When a customer fills out a form on-line, the contents of the form is saved in a cookie on their hard drive. The next time the customer needs the information, the information is automatically populated for them from the cookie. We do not use cookies to gather information from our users.
Governing Law: The internal laws of the State of California, without reference to any choice of law provisions, shall govern any claims relating to the materials on or the Web site.
Severability: If any term of this Agreement is declared unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable by any court in any jurisdiction, then such term will be deemed severable from the remaining terms in such jurisdiction and will not affect the validity and enforceability of such remaining terms.
Revisions: PhD Studios may revise the foregoing Privacy Policy at any time, and all users will be bound by such revisions. Revisions will be posted on this “Privacy Policy” page and users are responsible to review the page from time to time to ensure compliance.
Security: We have several industry-standard measures in place to protect the information under our control. These security measures include IP address validation, SSL (secure socket layer) encryption and password protection. Although we will exercise reasonable care in providing secure transmission of information between your computer and our servers, we cannot ensure or warrant the security or retention of any information or data transmitted to us over the Internet and we accept no liability for any unintentional disclosure, loss or misuse of any such information or data.
